The intelligence starts here

A small addition.
A whole new perspective.

imbrr’s ultrasonic sensor attaches to the outside of your water line, near your pressure tank or cistern. Our technology turns those measurements into a clearer picture of your well.

  • No flow sensor inserted into your pipe
  • No sensor lowered into your well
  • Your data, available on your phone or computer

Pressure tank systems also use a pressure sensor installed in the existing tank tee. We’ll help confirm the right setup for your well.

Making the most of an existing well
“Love this!! We almost had to hydrofrack and thankfully with this device I can see when to rest the well and how to maximize production with the water I have. Ultimately, we have been able to meet all our water needs without the huge hydrofracturing expense.”

Peace of mind for a busy household
“I've had imbrr for about 11 months now in a house with 5–6 people and it's made a huge difference in how we manage our well. Before getting it, the well had run dry dozens of times. It hasn't run dry once since.”
Read Nick’s full story

I still check imbrr every day to see where the water level is and keep an eye on trends. No more wondering if I'll run out of water halfway through a shower with soap on my face.

It's also helped us get a much better idea of how much water we're actually using. We can plan showers, laundry, dishes, and even things like filling the hot tub around what's available in the well. When I'm filling the hot tub, I can stop once the well gets down to a level I'm comfortable with and finish it the next day after it's had time to recover.

It also helped me identify water waste; I noticed that two of our toilets were using around 4–5 gallons every time they flushed. After replacing them with low-flow toilets, I could actually see the difference in the well level, both immediately and over time.

The imbrr support has also been great to work with. Before I bought imbrr, we emailed back and forth for several days. I asked a ton of questions, and I always got quick and thorough responses. It's apparent this company’s passion is well monitoring.

After almost a year of using imbrr, the biggest thing for me is simply knowing what's going on with my well instead of guessing. With a household our size, that peace of mind is beyond worth it.

“I’ve been involved with industrial flowmeters for nearly 30 years.

All I can say is that this non-intrusive meter and technology to use pressure along with flow rate… Simply works

The very day imbrr is installed, you suddenly see what your well is doing on your phone. Impressive”

Improving pressure and pump cycling
“We had been dealing with inconsistent water pressure and had no idea whether our pressure tank was working the way it should. With imbrr, we could finally see how often our pump was cycling, how long it was running, and whether our pressure settings were where they needed to be.”

After making a few adjustments to our pressure tank, we were able to improve our water storage and reduce unnecessary pump cycling. What I really appreciate is that imbrr lets us keep an eye on the system continuously, instead of waiting until something goes wrong or remembering to check it once a year. It gives us confidence that our well system is operating properly and helps us catch potential problems before they turn into expensive repairs.

Understand pressure-tank performance
Finding the problem behind lost water
“We thought our well had run dry, but imbrr helped us discover the real problem was our pump. As the water level in our well changed, our pump could no longer deliver the water we needed under the new conditions. By monitoring our water level, pump performance, and recovery, we were able to identify a pump sizing problem and fix it with a simple change to the pressure setting.”

A few good questions

Let’s clear
things up.

Have a different question?
We’re happy to help

Will imbrr work with my well?

imbrr supports many pressure tank and cistern setups. Every well is unique, so we review your system and confirm the right configuration before you order.

Does anything need to go down the well?

No. imbrr uses measurements taken near the pressure tank or cistern, together with our algorithms, to calculate depth to water. There is no additional sensor lowered into the well.

What does installation involve?

The ultrasonic flow sensor attaches to the outside of the pipe and connects to AC power and Wi-Fi. Pressure tank setups also require a pressure sensor in the existing tank tee. We can talk you through the steps for your particular system.

Which pipes are compatible?

Mounts are available for many common PEX, PVC, poly, copper, and galvanized steel pipes, with supported sizes from ¾ inch to 2 inches depending on the pipe. Have a pipe that isn’t listed? We can validate new pipe types and sizes quickly.

Can my well servicer use the data too?

imbrr has a dedicated servicer platform for monitoring customer wells, reviewing diagnostic alerts, and tracking follow-up. If your well professional is interested, introduce them to imbrr for professionals.

Can I connect it to my smart home?

An API and MQTT integration are available. You can explore the API documentation or contact us about your integration.

How much does a system cost?

We quote your system based on its configuration. Share a few details about your well and we’ll discuss the hardware, setup, and ongoing service options with you.
